Following Neo Zeons counter attack by there leader Char Aznable which was innevitably halted, the majority of the forces and citizens fearing retribution and oppression fled to Mars and were followed by several self proclaimed Spacenoid idealist groups forming the Empire of Zeon now 20 years after that bloody conflict that the Federation and the empire find themselves on the brink of war after the assaination of the Earth Federation President. The destruction of an unarmed diplomatic cruiser from Zeon has politicians in an uproar and the worlds seem to be on a collision course for war yet again.
