A blond boy with bright blue eyes, standing at 4"7, Ico's not insanely small for his age and he's definitely not the biggest kid his age. He still has his child-round face and he's still without any of the dreaded acne. There's no facial hair to speak of and he has the body of scraggly boy. So to sum it up in nice simple words, Ico looks like a normal boy if not a bit on the skinny side.
Ico has fair skin that's just barely darker than pale. His body itself is strong with boy-hood muscle and strangely enough, very little fat. Thanks to his strong muscles that he himself trained hard, Ico is able to move swiftly and flexibly like a cat.
Now, moving on. He wears casual clothes consisting of a white T-shirt with black shorts. A black cloth attaches from the neck of his shirt and rests on his back, a yellow rim squares it. The simplest way to describe it would be the top of a sailor uniform topped off with a yellow tie. His shorts are large and baggy with two yellow belts that circle the legs for fashion. As for shoes, he has thick white shoes with yellow bottoms that are usually covered half-way with leg-sleeves. The same also goes for his arms and both pairs are black. Now for whats on his head are some head-phones that are, strangely, for communication. He can play music on them but their mighty high-techness (if any) is for communication. He doesn't carry weapons of any sort saying he doesn't need the 'unnecessary' weight.
Personality
Ico is one of those boys who would rather jump before looking. He's adventurous and impulsive; willing to try just about every challenge in the world, hard or not. And when he starts he'll never stop until he's the best at it. Being that, Ico is a bit... slow. He's not at all good with very hard thinking and would rather just do things the easy way. That said, don't say any real big words at him or else his brain will go into overdrive to figure out what it means... He's also like pretty much every other boy; he loves to play, eat, and sleep. When he can't do something fun Ico will end up most likely doing something very stupid and irrational just to stave off his boredom. Unfortunately he seems to get bored alot...
He is also a mischievous little bugger. He'll come up with pranks that sometimes get out of hand and if he doesn't like someone... well good luck. Ico has a large ego, so his pride can easily be hurt if someone shows him up badly enough. He'll probably declare the one who showed him up his 'eternal rival' and constantly train till he's 'far superior' than the other... (Wonder how long that'll take.) Thankfully he's compassionate about those who care for him. If he likes someone enough he'll automatically make them part of his 'family'. (Basically the ones he thinks of as his closest friends.) And to top it all off the boy is very ambitious which helped him choose his future career.
History
Ico was born as the male of a pair of twins. Though he never knew his sister because of strange event that separated him from both his twin and his mother, Ico lived alone with his father. Ico's father died when the boy was a mere five years old. How? Ico was never told as the adults merely said 'it was all an accident'.
So since then, he lived in an orphanage. He was one of the popular kids just... not in the good way. He had made a reputation while he was there as the 'gold cat' for his uncanny ability to copy the agility of a stray cat. But that wasn't the bad part, the bad was when he constantly played pranks and sometimes horrible little tricks on both the staff and the other children. He had made alot of enemies but also quite a few admirers. Though that didn't last very long when Ico had finally made the head-mistress snap. What had he done to get him thrown out?
Well he stole some eggs from the farmers when they weren't looking, took an ember from a blacksmith while also stealing a pair of tongs, and finished it off by stealing a dragon rider's saddle-blanket. Right smack dab in the middle of the orphanage courtyard, Ico had taken a pan from the kitchen and was roasting the eggs over the ember while he and his friends drew, cut, and slept on the saddle-blanket. Now one might wonder how he managed to take one those...
Well its not too hard when the rider's asleep and the dragons away. That just sent the head-mistress to forever banning him from the orphanage. (Though he could argue he's done worse.) So now he's ten and lives by himself under and any shelter he can find. That shelter is an inn where he helps out at. Even he likes having a roof. Now at ten, Ico impatiently goes to find his dragon-sibling. (Yes he'll call his dragon his sibling... An odd kid he is indeed...)
