Appearance
Hielo is very serptentine is appearance with a long slender body and neck. Her body is not marred by any scars or bear anything other then her horns, spines, and of course her scales. Her scales are quite a sight to behold, being a gorgeous glistening ice blue. Her scales shine brightly in the sun making for quite a beauty. She camoflauges well into the sky when she flies however making up for the ex-poser on the ground. Ever sharp and dangerous her long dark blue spines travel from her head down to the end of her long slender tail. She however bears a duvet between her shoulder blades where her rider would sit, safe from their constant pokieness. On her head she bears magnificent horns, long and sharp they could be quite a deadly weapon if used properly. Her horns being a silver color rather then blue. Larger, and thicker scales on her chest, to protect her heart and throat, are a darker yellow color. Her long narrowed face is pure blue except the occasional tooth that juts out from her upper lip. A long upper 'beak' of sorts helps her grab onto things easily. Her eyes are a startling placid silver that seem to be like calm pools of liquid. They almost never betray any emotions unless that emotion is to great for the great beast to control. Like all dragons Hielo is very strong and can easily kill this or that. Though unlike some her muscles aren't as prominent as most, being a very slender dragon. Her muscles are compact and discrete, not all that bulky. Her wings are huge, with long hollow bones and a silky warm skin like all dragons. Her wings are an icy blue as well, matching her body to a point. Her claws, are a darker blue, a sapphire blue. They are obviously deadly tools and weapons and it is clear this dragon is not be messed with. Truly, Hielo is a fine specimen of dragon indeed.
Personality
Hielo has yet to choose her rider, she has simply not yet found anyone she would like to become close with. She isn't picky or arrogant, no. She, just like all dragons has someone she is destined to be with, and she hasn't found them yet. Quite the contrary she is very kind hearted and warm to humans and other dragons. Very intelligent as well, though she is a very protective dragon.. If she were to sense her rider to be threatened in anyway, teasing or not Hielo would fly in to protect her friend. Hielo knows when she gets her rider they will bear a connection stronger then any before. She is very loyal and loving, and knows she and her rider will be the best of friends. In fact she fears that if her rider were to die she would as well, because such a huge part of her own being would be ripped out along with her rider.
History
Hielo's egg was found a good distance from the city, abandoned. Picked up by a riders dragon and brought back to the city to be raised. A year or two later, a small blue dragon hatched from the ice blue egg. As soon as she hatched she was taken in by a bronze dragon. Raised by this dragon she learned how to fly, hunt, and fight, sort of anyway. Ever since then Hielo has rejected every rider that came to try and become her rider. Soon a dragon hatched that piked her interest, Drake he was called. She didn't love him or anything, no.. She simply thought he would make a nice enough friend. And a few years later when he was old enough to run around and Hielo played with him every now and then. However now she longs for a rider.. If only she could find the right one.
