Enki - A silver dragon.
Eiry's dragon partner is a lithe silver dragon. He's not the largest dragon out there but he's definitely not smallest either. A perfect 'in-between'. His scales are all the different shades of grey (silver) ranging from bright silver to almost black-grey. His eyes are also a silvery-grey which makes them blend into his silvery head. And thus, that makes him look like he has no eyes... Thankfully if one looks closely enough, they'll see the white slit that serves as the dragon's pupil. As for personality, Enki is one of the dragons who would perfer to pick their fights wisely. He's acts rather cooly when dealing with new things, in fact he's a bit laid-back.

Eiry is a rather small girl for her age; standing at about 4"8 its safe to say that Eiry is a 'midget' for her age. Even more so since almost everyone in her family towers over everyone... Its probably because of her height that some might think her a child, well that or the fact she has one of those 'innocent' faces. By innocent, it looks like she would never hurt a thing. Not even a fly. (Oh but that is such a lie.) Now moving away from her expressions, Eiry is what one might call an 'odd-looking' girl (or child). Why odd? Well, Eiry was born with bright silver hair and not just bleach blond to the max but a complete and pure case of silvery-white hair that raches down to the base of her spine. She's even taken to tieing it up in her heirloom hair-pin. A clip made from amethyst and some other precious metals and such.
But thats not her hair's only oddity; when the sunlight is at her back her hair looks... purple. Yes purple; not blue, not blond, but purple. (Thats probably why the little children always wondered if she was actually a dragon in disguise...) Pushing that one little oddity aside, Eiry is or would be a perfectly normal looking girl. A girl with golden-brown eyes and naturally pale-ish skin. Her body itself is light and small, something that her dragon definitly enjoys. Eiry has no scars (or at least none that she knows of) and as for birthmarks or any other natural or unnatural marks on her body, she hasn't any. Oddly enough she doesn't even have freckles. (Thats another of her oddities...)
Her clothing consists of her 'uniform'. An orderly combination of a white-collared shirt covered with a tan outer 'coat' whose rims are a purple-ish black and then finishing with a similarly dark colored skirt; finally topped off with a ribbon-jewel combination tied around her neck and hidden mostly under her white collar. Her shoes are a matching black-purple that are shaped similar to short boots.
Personality
If you thought Eiry's appearance was odd, well then... Eiry is one of those girls who contradicts herself like no other. Kind of like being bi-polar. One minute she'll be happy, active, and just want to move and then other times she'll act like she's dieing... Her mind can never seem to come up with what she would rather do so Eiry tries to keep things nice, short, and brilliantly simple. Despite her family's strict training, Eiry has always found herself not caring about someone's back-ground. Her likes and dislikes of people always range from how they act around her. Though, that also depends heavily on her mood at the time. (She's kind of like a cat in a way.) Though one things for certain, Eiry is nice to anyone who is nice to her but even she can sense fake kindness.
Although she doesn't like being lied to, Eiry knows that people lie to protect something. She doesn't care what so she never objects unless its something important. Eiry has a strict sense of duty and with her being a guardian, her strictness sometimes goes over-board. Like most other guardians, she is loyal to the kingdom she protects. She tries to be kind and helpful to all those in the kingdom, rich or poor. Eiry does try to stay positive no matter what and her witty humor sometimes or worsens that. Sometimes she'll say things aloud that she did not intend to say aloud. Now as for romance, Eiry doesn't know right from left. Poor girl has never even dated or even had a 'guy-friend' in all 16-years of her life... (Her dad kept scaring them all away...)
History
Eiry was born into a family who had long line of guardians ancestors. A child of three and the oldest to boot. Eiry's mother's name was Carlin, her father Ein, and her two brothers Ed and Milo. Her mother was a stern woman who tormented the little girl with lessons on etiquette and feminity since the day Eiry could speak. Her two younger brothers however got to avoid the brutal assaults of 'how to act in the presense of royalty' and 'how you should dine while in company'. During those lessons Eiry swore she was going to explode from the absurdity of it all. Her father on the other hand was guardian, and one of the good ones too. He was a strict man but he was also one of those 'daughter-obsessed' dads.
Ever since she was born he had always showered her with gifts and his full attention. That led to both her brother's scorn and her mother's. When Eiry was seven, her father taught her how to ride a dragon, using his own dragon partner as a practice. His dragon was a brilliant fiery beast with scales the color of an inferno. She could even remember the warmth in the dragon's kind eyes. Through her father, Eiry learned that the dragon himself thought as the little girl as his own hatchling and even came to nickname her 'Silver-pup.' An affectionate nickname that Eiry accepted whole-heartedly. Eiry couldn't pronounce the red dragons name so she shortened it to Noble. And it matched from how 'noble-ly' he carried himself despite his unrare rank. When she was ten she went with her father up to find her dragon partner against her mother's very abrupt protests of her needing more 'lessons'.
The first dragons she went to see were the red, praying that she would get one of the fire-colored lizards that her father had. she always loved the brillant hues of red that reminds her of sunsets and the bright life of fire but unfortunately for the poor girl, every dragon's tail only dimmed to darkness. Eiry was crushed to know that her partner was not amongst the red beasts and almost gave up right then and there if her father had not urged her on. Reluctantly she pushed away her depression and continued on to the next dragons. This time she jumped the breeds and went straight for gold, hoping that perhaps she could find a partner amongst the sun-colored beasts. Then once again her hopes were dashed by the familiar black-tail. Next she went to green then to blue and then to silver. By the time she had reached silver her child-heart had been sunk into a small depression of a 'maybe no one wants to be my partner.' But that changed instantly when Eiry found herself at a dragon who she thought at first was made of stone. If it weren't for the gleaming scales she would've most likely thought the creature was made of stone. Eiry stared at the beast who stared back in turn and almost like in a dream, its great silver head lowered for the girl to touch.
That was when Eiry saw the white envelope the dragon's whip-like tail. That moment her heart soared and she found her dragon partner. The link between them had built in an instant and felt as strong as life itself. After she had bonded with her dragon, Eiry's father gave her test to see just how well the girl could control the dragon. Amazingly, Eiry was a natural and to not only her father's suprise but to many on-lookers as well; Eiry had not only out-maneuvered her more experienced father but also put him in a tight position. Though in the end experience paid off and Eiry loss. But that was when her father seriously trained her to become a guardian. It took her only a few years to get enough experience to fly as a 'real' guardian.
